Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms & Conditions that will apply to your purchased items from Alex Hans Collection.

ORDERS

Once the order has been placed, please note that the shipment address used for the order cannot be changed. If you want to change it the original order has to be canceled and you need to make a new one
If you want to cancel an order already placed you must do it within 24 hours since the purchased has been made: after this, if the shipment has already left and you want to get a refund or a substitution we will not refund the shipment cost. 

If some shipping detail is missing (as incorrect address, phone number, or further informations needed for the shipment) and you won't reply to our request within 15 days, we will automatically cancel and refund your order. You will be able to place it again on our web site. 

Gift wrap: We offer gift wrap for $5, which includes Alex Hans gift boxes, designer tissue paper, a ribbon and bow, and a hand-written gift note. Select the gift wrap option on the shopping cart page, and be sure to include your gift note.

If you have any special instructions, such as gift-wrapping particular items together, please include those notes in the gift wrap box. 

If you do not select the gift wrap option, and you are shipping to someone other than yourself, we include a note that says "from [sender's name]."

Daily Shipping Cutoff: We ship orders Monday through Friday. FedEx 2-Day and FedEx Overnight orders are shipped on the same day when the order is placed before 2pm EST. All other orders are usually shipped within 24 hours, and we make every effort to ship orders same day. See shipping days below


Shipping Methods: Besides our free standard shipping we also offer the following shipping choices;

1) Standard Shipping will arrive within 3-5 business days (Monday-Saturday)
2) Expedited Shipping will arrive within 2-3 business days (Monday-Saturday)
3) Express Shipping will arrive within 1-2 business days (Monday-Saturday)
4) FedEx 2-Day Shipping is guaranteed to arrive on the 2nd business day, if the order is placed by 2pm EST (Monday-Friday)
5) FedEx Overnight Shipping is guaranteed to arrive the next day, if the order is placed by 2pm EST (Monday-Friday)

Shipping on a Specific Date: If you would like your order to ship on a specific date, please email hello@alexhans.com to arrange the details.

Shipping to Multiple Addresses: Our website does not currently allow shipping to multiple addresses. 

International Shipping: We ship our items to anywhere in the world via USPS Priority International (6-10 business days), USPS Express International (1-3 business days), FedEx International Economy (2-5 business days) and FedEx International Priority (1 to 3 business days, next business day to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean). Because international orders require special processing, your order will be shipped within 48 hours. 

 

Return & Refund Policy

Returns: Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges: With the exception of sale items anything bought from us is eligible for exchange provided it’s unused and in the same condition you received.  If you need to exchange an item, send us an email at hello@alexhans.com and send your item to: Alex Hans Store, ATTN: Online Department, 4 E Central St. #92 Worcester, MA 01613.

Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping a return item: To return your product, you should mail your product to: The Alex Hans Collection, ATTN: Online Department, 4 E Central St. #92 Worcester, MA 01613.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

DELIVERY

We aim to deliver within 4 working days from the date the order is placed. Any delay in shipment due to either carrier issues and/or exceptional or particular conditions related to the specific country is not under our responsibility. 


You may be required to sign for delivery. Please before signing you must inspect the package for any obvious tampering. If the customer receives an empty package but signs the delivery receipt and does not immediately report the fact to the carrier, we are not responsible for any refunding or substitution. The customer has to keep the receipt of the delivered product in case of future needs with us about it. 

We ship worldwide.

In case the carrier does not succeed in delivering the item (because of either wrong address or absence of the recipient), we will advise the customer (as soon as the carrier informs us) trying to reach him/ her via email and/or via telephone if needed. If the carrier eventually ships the item back to us because of no response, from the customer, and you still want to get the sunglasses, you'll have to pay for another shipment, otherwise we'll refund the cost of the sunglasses bought (without the shipment cost).
